Christian Pondella is an adventure sports photographer based in Mammoth Lakes, CA. As a participant in many of the sports he photographs, he tries to capture an image through the athlete's perspective, instead of the spectators view. His goal is to give people an intimate and more personal view, capturing the viewer's emotions and making them feel like they are part of the action.
He is a Senior Photographer for Powder Magazine, photographer for Red Bull USA, a contributor to Getty Images, and a San Disk Extreme Team member. His images have been published in magazines such as Outside, Men's Journal, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, GQ, Maxim, FHM, and a variety of other publications and newspapers throughout the world.
